At the crossroads of the senses

Two destinations, two worlds, one shared promise of escape. Valérie Coelho (Nuxe Spa, Hostellerie Cèdre) and Mathilde Denis-François (Spa Codage, Hostellerie Briqueterie) reveal the thoughtful touches that make all the difference.
Your approach to wellness, in one sentence ?

Mathilde : To offer a timeless haven where everything invites disconnection from daily life.
Valérie : To create a sensory escape that soothes the body and frees the mind.

What makes your spa unique ?

Mathilde : The natural light streaming through the large glass roof overlooking the garden gives the whole space a wonderfully gentle atmosphere.
Valérie : Its intimate, welcoming setting: a former cellar with stone vaults and terracotta tones.

The secret to a bespoke treatment ?

Mathilde : Genuine listening is essential to craft personalised treatments tailored to each guest’s specific needs.
Valérie : From the moment they arrive, guests answer a few questions so we can adapt every detail (oil, candle, ambiance) to their preferences.

How do your partner brands shape your spa’s identity ?

Mathilde : Codage Paris reflects our values: authenticity, quality, and bespoke experience.
Valérie : With Nuxe, we share a philosophy of generous, sensorial care centred on relaxation.

Your Signature Treatment ?

Mathilde : Our signature massage, designed by our practitioners for its revitalising benefits. It focuses on the back of the body and releases tension from the upper front part. A treatment that truly listens to the guest, just like our Maison.
Valérie : Our "Couture Cèdre" massage is a face and body ritual inspired by the Hospices de Beaune. It begins with an olfactory immersion in Rose Absolue, followed by slow and intuitive gestures, and ends with heated glass spheres.

What surprises your guests ?

Mathilde : The small, personalised touches (infusion, treat, or surprise) to beautifully round off this unique experience.
Valérie : A rose-syrup cocktail crafted by our Head Bartender Matthieu, served to prolong the post-massage relaxation.

Tradition or innovation ?

Mathilde : We favour the tradition of touch for our Codage facial treatments, preserving a warm and authentic approach.
Valérie : Touch is at the heart of our approach. Thanks to this precious know-how, each practitioner creates a bridge between listening and letting go.

Finally, if your spa were an emotion ?

Mathilde : Serenity rediscovered.
Valérie : Inner peace.
