Led by BEAUVALLON, Villa Florentine is reconnecting with its legacy. Its renaissance is anchored in three defining identities: monastic in its tradition, Florentine in spirit, and Lyonnaise at heart. Built in the 17th-century in the wake of Italian artists arriving in France after the marriage of Henri IV and Marie de’ Medici, the property served first as a convent, then an educational home. Listed as a Historic Monument and a member of Relais & Châteaux, it is set to reopen in April 2026 following an extensive renovation. In collaboration with interior architect and curator Joséphine Fossey, the entire residence is being reimagined — from the rooms to the communal spaces, from the restaurant to the spa — while preserving its original charm and its soul that has defined it for centuries. A timeless showcase of hospitality, culture, and refinement, true to the faithful and living spirit of BEAUVALLON.
